Bajra Sandhi Monument is a monument to the Bali People's Struggle. This monument is known as Bajra Sandhi because of its shape like Bajra or Genta or bell that is used by all Hindu priests in reading holy sentences (mantra) Vedas in religious ceremonies. The Bajra Sandhi Monument was built in 1987 and was opened by the former president on June 14, 2003.
Bajra Sandhi Monument consists of 33 dioramas depicting the history of the journey from the prehistoric period (300,000 BC) what humans still go about and very basic to nature until the period of filling independence (1950-1975) where the island of Bali was built in all fields such as politics, economics, and socio-culture.
